Old Parkland

view project

New life was given to this Dallas landmark, which was built in 1913 and stood empty for the better part of the last twenty years. The original Old Parkland hospital building was renovated and restored to become the Crow Holdings headquarters. Emily Owens oversaw the development and creation of the Old Parkland Campus, a private corporate campus that values relationships and the historic setting that serves as a backdrop to modern business.

Park Place Motors

view project

Park Place Motors has created a brand nationally awarded for its attention to luxury and service. The design of each facility is the result of specific decisions made to cater to each client, and even, each automotive model. Emily Owens Design Group recently completed the design for the new Park Place Plano Lexus. Although the dealership is the largest Lexus facility in the country, the interior is more reminiscent of a luxury boutique hotel

Preston Hollow Residence

view project

Emily Owens Design Group provided full interior design services for this 12,000 SF new construction home in the heart of Preston Hollow. The goal was to create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that flows throughout the home while creating unique experiences. This was achieved with the utilization of soft lines, sophisticated palettes and custom designed furniture that reflects the family’s point of view and unique experiences.

Layette Dallas

view project

The interior of this children’s boutique is intended to reflect the store’s well edited selection of classic and high end children’s clothing. The space is refreshingly simple with white marble countertops and bead board accents. The layout is flexible yet easy for clientele to navigate.

Warren Barron Bridal

view project

Warren Barron is a high end bridal boutique whose owners wanted to discard the conventional bridal design in favor of an interior that reflects their fashion forward clientele. Gowns suspend from acrylic rods. A turn table plays vintage vinyl. The atmosphere is unique, strongly feminine and perfectly memorable.

Residence at the Mansion on Turtle Creek

view project

This is a man’s retreat geared to be a warm respite for a client that travels often and who looks forward to returning to his strong sanctuary. The warm and decidedly masculine home blends the urban location of the Mansion with the familiar lux of leather, men’s wool suit fabrics, rich woods and crisp lines.

Greenway Parks Residence

view project

Nestled on a park in Greenway Parks, this new construction residence is designed to be a warm yet contemporary home for a growing family. The layout of the home takes advantage of all views to the park and the design is meant to emphasize simple yet luxurious living. Emily Owens

Emily loves to travel. The more exotic the better. Morocco. Eastern Europe. Places that awaken the senses and renew vigor to create spaces with innovation and intention while maintaining dedication to timelessness.

Emily Owens is a Dallas native. Having earned a BA from Tufts University in Boston and after living and studying abroad, Emily turned her efforts to Interior Design. Earning an additional BFA from Harrington Institute in Chicago, Emily honed her skills under a Hall of Fame design recipient.

Moving back to Dallas, Emily led the Interior Design studio at Good Fulton and Farrell. Before opening her own firm, Emily worked for Crow Holdings overseeing the development and design of Old Parkland Campus.

Emily loves a challenge and this is evident in her body of work. From turning a dilapidated oyster factory into an important cultural museum to finding just the right artisan to resurrect lost old world skills, there is no obstacle too big.

Jessica Cabrera McGrath

After growing up in Dallas, Jessica moved to Sarasota, Florida and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Ringling School of Art and Design.

Specializing in furniture and finishes, Jessica’s passion for details is evident in each project. She has honed her craft at both high end residential and hospitality projects.

Jessica loves all movies made before 1945. Her favorite is a toss-up between Leave Her to Heaven and Top Hat.
